Add Minnesota to our state reciprocity ccw list bringing it to 33 states and counting next will be West Virginia according to the A.G.

Is there a ferry that bypasses IL?

I would like to know the source of this info please.
It would be great news for me if true, my kids live in the Minneapolis area, and I travel there a couple of times a year.

Go find the MN AG office website. Google is your friend.

Well, I just took a look at their web sight and could find no information there regarding reciprocity, so I just fired off an email to the AG of Minnesota asking about reciprocity with our state. Will see if I get an answer from her office.

Might be one that crosses into Sheyboygan/Two Rivers area in WI. No carry state but just keep it unloaded in a case and you'll be alright. Lots better than IL.

It's a bit out of the way, but you can always go through the U.P. Then you just have to cross about 100 miles of Wisconsin.
It's the "scenic route".
