Last free shooting area in San Diego needs your help!
Carrizo Creek Range near Jacumba needs a cleanup badly to avoid suffering the fate of just about every other open shooting area in San Diego County. It's been schedueled for May 19-20 Check out the website for more details. And join the SDShooting Yahoo group to keep up with shooting-related items pertinent to the San Diego area!

I've been asking questions about guns in this forum just for moving to San Diego. If I was local I'd be there. Good luck.

Excellent! The more the merrier. This should be a lot of fun, too... hopefully we'll be able to meet lots of new people who enjoy shooting and believe in freedom!

Cool. As of now I am still able to come. If something unforseen happens, I typically take my boys up there in June to go shooting. We usually bring home a few bags of trash with us each time we go. It was a disappointment when they closed Kitchen Creek, don't want to see the same thing happen here. BTW, is Carrizo Creek the "official" name, I have always just heard it referred to as the Jacumba range?

Great! Did you sign up on the website? It looks like a package of schwag is being assembled for volunteers

Same here. I think "Carrizo Creek Range" was coined by the guy who started this whole effort. It's more specific, and sounds a lot better, than "Jacumba shooting area"
