Come by courier-journal.com and post in any of the several story threads concerning the shooting the other day. I would really like for the voice of reason to be heard a bit more, and would love to have the help against the numerous anti-gun comments. Normally, I don't bother with this type of thing, but this is my current hometown paper, and it really bothers me to see the paper and a handful of liberal whiners get away with trashing my rights.

The CJ reporter tries to infer that Ky does not require a background check on purchases "like Virginia does". Obviously, we have a Federal check like most states, but the obvious intent of the article is to mislead.

Please, if you haven't already done so, go buy the CJ site and leave a comment on the web site under this story. You will have to register first, but I think it is very important that we be available to rebutt this type of bs.

The editors have been caught padding the editorials in the past to suit their agenda, and they will not stop until that junk rag goes under or a conservative buys it and fires all the idiots. Until then we are casting our pearls before swine. I know they are hurting for subscribers. But then again 40% of Louisville actually beleives what is written there.

Agreed, the CJ is definitely one of the most biased newspapers I have ever encountered. It's no wonder the rest of the state wants nothing to do with Louisville, too many morons that like to press their agendas on others without listening to and respecting the views and rights of their opposition.

Its sad that some people forget that this is a democracy and everyone is entitled to their own opinions, regardless of who agrees with them. The CJ is almost purely one-sided.

The Lexington Hurled-Bleeder ain't much better. Let's face it 90% + of the worlds news journalist, both print and TV are panny waisted liberals. I find it funny that small town more conservative leaning papers are actually profiting, while big city commie rags are losing money.
