Best deals on new Glock 19 in Fairfax area?
I got three quotes for a Glock 19. Blue Ridge in Chantilly($550), Virginia Arms in Manassas($535) and Guns & Ammo in Manassas($529) in Manassas. Topglock.com sells one for $460 + $18 shipping. Are there cheaper places to buy a Glock 19? Has anyone tried to have the local gun shops match online price? How about gun shows? What was the going price at Chantilly national gun show or Dale City Old Dominion gun show? Thanks in advance for any help.

Call JG Elarde Firearms in Leesburg.
Joe deals out of his house and at the gun shows. Best prices around. If he doesn't have on he'll order one for you.

Don't forget to add in any transfer/handling fee the FFL of your choice might tack on to that TopGlock cost, plus the $2 NIC check fee. I look for a bargain too, once in a while, but these stores gotta pay the bills and their people too. You can walk out with the Glock in 15 to 20 minutes for a few bucks more, see and handle the gun you are selecting. Might be worth the few extra bucks.

What fungunner said...
I buy from Virginia Arms Company, they are good folks. My rationale on Glocks:
$469 (topglock) + $18 shipping + $20 transfer = $507. That's close enough to $535 for me. Tax is another $25.
Paying for the privilege of being able to handle the gun and make sure it's ok before you buy it... That said, I've bought plenty over the 'net, but only when it's a clear difference of like $100 or more.

Will any of the local shops do transfers on stuff like that that they may stock?

The only dealer I've heard about that may not is Clark Brothers in Warrenton (or Opal, if you're a local). I use Virginia Arms, I don't get any grief, just service. Pay their fees and it's a done deal.

Glock 19
Buds has Glock 19s at $463.16. The link to Buds is:
http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/p...ducts_id/13711
But I agree with Stooxie's comment that you need to add the cost of shipping and transfer and then look at local gun shop prices. Being able to check out the firearm and then take it to the range is "priceless". I like Guns & Ammo Warehouse. They are knowledgable and add to the purchase experience. Also I would urge supporting any of the stores mentioned in this thread they do serve us.

VA Arms treats people right. They are more than willing to help you with sights and such down the road. My wifes Gen 1 G19 broke when I was new to Glocks, went down there and they helped me get squared away quickly. 95% of my purchases are from them.

Huh? Since when? I can't dispute it, but I've never been told that by Bernie or any of the guys no matter how many goodies I've purchased there.
Seriously, can you elaborate?

The nations gun show comes to chantilly pretty often I'd check there. I've worked through Trader Jerry's a couple of times and like them.
