What ever happen to all those people that were caught using KAZAA (like 4 or 5 years ago) and were going to be sued for the big bucks? I never heard anything else.
Is that still around???

My wife works with a college girl who's getting sued for at least $4,000 for using LimeWire at the college campus.

University handed over her IP to the RIAA.

she could have paid $4,000 and plead no contest...now she has to fight it in court.

the RIAA is not a good thing. They are closing down guitar tab websites, and pretty soon I think they'll sue for humming/whistling a song you didn't pay royalties for.

and I wish I was being sarcastic.
