Some folders in my control panel will not open. They all relate to the computer, i.e. Mouse , keyboard, Add/ remove Programs,. But Internet options will open, as will Fonts, and few others. I have not add any new software or be messing in the registry
I have Windows XP / using Foxfire and Explorer..Can't open Explorer, but I can open Foxfire .......???
Reboot and see if you can open system restore. I had this happen to me and I found that my C drive was turned off. Click system restore back on and reboot again. See if that works.
