DPS Permit Turn Around

Just wondering how long it took you guys to get your permits. The DPS site says they have up to like 70 days by law but it normally takes 10 business days...

It's been 7 days and counting for me so far

It took me about 8 working days. Excluding the weekends.

It's been awhile for me but it seems it was less than a week. I know I was really surprised

Ten business days for me. They have a new computer system, I was told so turnaround times should start improving.

Mailed the application Monday, received my permit today, that's 6 days. Good thing because my old one expired tomorrow.

Regards.
