Anybody know if Georgia Arms comes to the Fairground shows? I need some ammo.

They have been at every gun show in the last 3 years. Be sure to check out Appollo Bullet ... Pete's prices are the best at the show...tax included.

Sounds good to me, but I am going on Sunday since I'm hitting the Charlotte show on Saturday. Keep me informed if Sunday is okay.

Hey Beavis...long time not hearing from you.

No kidding Carlos. I've just been working my butt off like most folks, hence I don't shoot as much these days as I'd like.

Picked up a sweet Inland M1 Carbine from the CMP a few weeks ago! That's my main point for this show....gonna pick up a case of .30 carbine canned heat from Georgia Arms.

Hope all is well in your life.

I know what you mean...I've been non-stop since April. I got two toys for my birthday back in April, a .45 Sig P-220 and a 9mm Walther P-99AS. Literally, that was the last time I saw them. The day after my birthday, I started remodeling my home - by myself. 550sq ft of hardwood flooring and stairs, 200 sq ft of tile, painting, electrical work, etc. All the while, I was working my 14-hour night shift. I finished the day before droves of friends and family from out of town showed up for my daughter's high school graduation. Anyway, I can't remember the last time I shot any of my guns.

I am going to the gun show to look for some parts for my Glocks (3.5lb triggers and comp slide releases) or another toy, if I can find a good deal. Last year, there was a guy at the show selling a commercial, all-matching Luger for $700. Like a dumb-*****, I did not buy it, but I also know it was still for sale at the end of the show. Who knows, maybe I'll find it again, and a Luger is #1 on my list. I am also very interested in an HK P-2000 as well as the Sig P-225s that have just been imported.

How do you like your M-1? Got any pics?

Wow. Sounds like a lot of work. You're right, that was a bonehead move on that Luger. If you see another deal that good on Saturday, JUMP ON IT!

I actually went ahead and ordered a 1903A3 along with my carbine, as I was worried about them running out. Here they are:

Beavis, it looks like you got some sweet guns. Both of those are on my list of future buys...now you're making me second guess my next purchase. Hey, I've got to get some pics of my new Sig and Walther and post them.

Hey Silverback, I'll be at the show on Sunday if you want to talk reloading. I have been reloading my own stuff for about 20 years with no problems. I reload .380, 9mm, .40S&W, .45 ACP, .357/38, 5.56mm.

How about Sunday at noon at the entrance (outside)? That would give us 4 hours. My avatar shows what I look like.

Well, I had to go on Saturday due to work responsibilities....Gah I'm so happy I'm going on vacation on Thursday (I've worked about 80 hours in the past 8 days).

Anyway, I picked up a very nice Mosin Nagant M44 Saturday, and 1000 rds of 30 carbine from GA arms.

Overall, not a bad day at the gunshow.

Now I just need to find some cheap 7.62x54r.....although it's pretty cheap everywhere.

I just realized this week that there's yet another show at the Jamil Temple on the 30th/1st. I'll probably be making that one on the Saturday/30th. Anyone else planning to attend?

gun show

I went on saturday. All I bought was 2 bottles of chef Leo's camp stew seasoning. Recipe is on the back. Had it tonight. Wow, that stuff had me sweating! It was good though.
There is another show at the Jamil coming up June 30/July 1.
