Houston indoor ranges that let you shoot rifles
Guys,
I'm not aware of any local indoor ranges that let you shoot rifles. Anyone know of one? Thanks.

Don't know about Top Gun, but I know MOSC won't let you. That's from personal experience.

According to their website: "Rifle & Shotgun First Shooter: $18.00 for 30 Minutes."
I have fired shotguns at MOSC. IMHO, MOSC is too expensive, too hot, and poorly ventilated.

Shotguns are ok, not rifles. I've shot my AR at MOSC, then the guy came in and told me they don't allow rifle rounds there. Whatever, and I left.

I think Sportsman's Outlet in Humble allows rifles, and it's a really nice place to shoot. I have only shot handguns there so far, but unless my brain is really mistaken, I spoke to an employee and we dicussed my bringing rifles there next time.

i have shot my ar-15 and mini-14 there quite a few times, but....
that placed burnt down about 2 weeks ago.
hopefully they will rebuild.

In South Houston (city of) they have a rnage with some great guys I used to shoot at. I believe it was Marksman. IIRC, They were only around $7 to shoot, but held wierd Sat hrs like 1p-10p.??

Pasadena Gun Center
Pasadena Gun Center will let you shoot rifles (no shotguns). They rent full auto as well as some handguns. I've shot up to a .30-30 there and I've seen (and heard!) some .30-06. Call ahead and find out the cutoff caliber.
It's not much to look at, but the owner is nice and MOST of the workers are nice. It's an older building (converted movie theater) so the ventilation is not the best but it gets the job done.

Hmm, sorry to see this regarding Sportsman's Outlet. A long drive for me, but it was really nice when I would finally get there after fighting traffic.
