River City Match!

Yesterday's River City IDPA match in San Antonio was a great one. Really interesting stages. I did OK except for ... Oh, well.

One weird thing, there was a stage with a target behind a plastic barrel. You had a very small slice of the target to hit.

One guy was shooting at hit and we heard a loud whirring sound almost like a low flying jet. But there was no Jet. Our best guess was that a round entered a barrel at such a angle at the curve that it raced around the inside of the barrel at speed until it was spent. Some thought was given that it was a good thing it didn't exit the barrel! What a strange thing.

Hey Glenn, that actually happens quite a bit. It does take you by surprise the first time you hear it though.
