Heading N on 581, which is the best exit for Hotel Roanoke?

Elm. IF you get off on Orange you want to head toward the sheetz on the corner of orange and williamson and take a right. Hotel Roanoke will be on your right after you go under the bridge.

Orange will be a little quicker. Take an immediate left onto Gainsboro, then go most of a mile until you take a left onto Wells Ave. 6 of one, half dozen of the other.

This is the way I have usually gone. Thought there might be a quicker way. I hate to drive 1 1/2 hours, see where I need to be, take a wrong turn, and take 30 minutes to go 2 blocks!
