Djees, I received mine in 30 days to be exact earlier this year. I guess the longer waiting period is because more CCW applications.

Will soon have to go back to add a few guns to my CCW.

Speaking of which...when you add weapon(s) to your permit, do you keep the permit or do they take it away until the additions are included?
How long does the process take?
Someone said the charge is about $25/weapon.
I'm in the same boat as you are.

UPDATE!

Permit arrived to day; 71 days from start to finish.
Called Metro for info on additional firearms and was told that I keep the old permit until the new one arrives, pay $25.

No problems, there.

I feel great!

Congrats on your permit!

yes, that info is correct. Don't forget that you first need to qualify with the gun(s) you want to add. The place where I got my CCW charges $20.00.

Discount Firearms charges $10 per pistol (to qualify). Then you have to pay $25 to update your license. It took me 2 1/2 weeks to get the updated one.

That squares with what I was told yesterday at Metro; the fingerpring machine is "...slowing down...or something...", and the add-ons are taking up to four weeks instead of 10-15 business days.
It's OK, with me; just keep carrying the presently listed one until the new permit shows up.

Well. . . I just got my UT license. It looks like my UT license won the race between UT and NV.

Still waiting on my NV CCW. I suppose the good news is now that when I head up to Utah for an upcoming vacation I'll be allowed to carry. I really wish my NV CCW would hurry and show up.

WooHoo!!!

Got my NV CCW finally, right on par with everyone else that recently got theirs, just about 71 days.

I'm still surprised that my UT CCW beat NV CCW to my mailbox.
