Most of the lodges in my area, (Near Harrisburg, PA) go dark.
I visited a lodge in VA last month, I guess going dark in the summer isn't practiced as much down south.

nope, not here. We do go to more casual dress for the summer months, not that we have a formal dress code.

Our Lodge is presently dark, but we're the only ones in the general area that do so.

Utah Grand Lodge in Salt lake is dark in the summer. Just too hot.

None in my area do. Maybe some in really rural areas of TX.

Hey Fernman, I visited Temperance Lodge while on vacation at Chincoteague. Since they are a "Moon Lodge" the actually had 2 meetings in June. It was kinda cool.
They did things quite a bit diferently than we do here in Pennsyvania!
Not bad, just different.
