Does anyone know anything about the gun show there this weekend (9/29)? Is it worth $20.00 in gas to see it? Thanks.

That's tough to answer.

I go there once a year.

The last show was larger than usual. I would liken it to the Syria shrine show as far as size.

I'm not sure what you would expect.

Are you going to find excellent deals on stuff? NO

Is the price of ammo cheaper/ NO you might save shipping.

Deputy Tom and I went a while back ( I think he went Sat and I went Sun) and compared notes.

He seemed to like it. I liked it. But I only live 15 miles up 79.

I only spend a couple hours there as you can go through it twice in two hours unless you are looking for something specific.

I've never been to Harmarville so can't compare.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. I go just to get out of the house for a few hours. I've heard people say the show is bad and useless.

I'll go back.

One nice thing is i have never seen this show overcrowded but I generally go Sundays between about 10:30 or so through noonish.

Maybe that's why I don't get any good deals

I may go but I don't really need anything. I've got extra mag and 4700 rounds of ammo on hand. The nice thing I only live 5 miles away. It's not a bad show and it's a nice ride down 79 from where you are. Just get off the same exit as the Casino and make a right and then left and then right. You could always ck out the casino also. It's only 1/2 mile from the exit.

I actually worked at RCA corp for a couple years around 1972-74 and used to make that trip every day.

I'm half a dozen miles north of DG and I like this particular show.Nice people (no gunsnobs),sometimes you'll find something unusual that a larger show won't produce.I'd drive from Beaver to see it but that's me.I used to travel to the Scotsdale show for less than half the tables.Now that the Washington show has expanded it is even better.Good food at cheap prices too.I'll be there Saturday and might wind up there again on Sunday.YMMV.tom.

I'm loking forward to going.I make deliveries to Joy Mining on occasion. I like the ride, unless a waste Management truck ran over a car. I've seen that aftermath twice. Shook me up both times.

I went and had a great time.They had 3 buildings this show.I spent most of my fun money but got what I thought were pretty good deals.YMMV.tom.

I went with money in my pocket, ready to buy a new handgun. I jinked myself... again. I did buy a couple of nice 50 cal. ammo cans at 5 bucks each. It was a nice show, I'll go back if I see signs for it again.
