The wait begins..
Had my prints done electronically today in volusia county..
Just overnighted my packet to Tallahassee...
Any guesses on the time frame?! Winner receives a pat on the back.
I've heard 8 days is the best so far.. maybe i'll be an exception!!

I'll guess 3 weeks... assuming you filled everything out correctly.
My wife's permit got delayed because somehow she skipped answering a question (just an oversight, not avoiding the question). But after re-doing the application, she got it in 22 calendar days after re-submitting.

Add two days to the wait... Apparently I'm the only person in the world that didn't know you had to use USPS to send to a PO Box.
Trying again with USPS this time. :(

Still nothing. :(
I spoke with the div of licensing, and she said they're running about 15-20 business days for processing the apps. (they already have my print + bg info on file from the digital) Normally they run 8-14 business days.
Today is the 14th business day. Man.. I'm DYING here!!!!!

They took the max 90 days with me. I called the State and they said the delay was with processing the fingerprint cards. My "recently approved prints" are on file there already for my occupational license so I know there is no issue with mixed IDs, background problems, etc. Anyway, she says if they don't get the prints back in 90 days, they issue the license without it.
The electronic processing is the way to go if time is an issue for you. I just didn't want to pay the extra fee for it.

It took 75 days to get mine. Would've been more if I didn't call to check. They had my app. sitting there waiting to be approved. The girl I spoke to actually approved it while I was talking to her. They say not to call til after 15 days I think, so give them 15 days and call to follow up.

What are you all referring to (electronic)? Got my prints done on paper when I took the class.
EDIT - Nevermind - found it - http://licgweb.doacs.state.fl.us/cwcs/cwcsindex.html
