CCW Classes in Austin area?

Howdy:

I spoke with my brother in Austin today and he is looking for a recommendation on a CHL (CCW) class in the Austin area.

If any of you know any top quality instructors and have course info, I will pass it on to him.

Thanks in advance!

For CHL, here are a few options:

CHL-Texas

Eagle Peak / Leander, Tx

Red's Indoor Range (North or South)

KR Training

Both Eagle Peak and Red's offer some basic training, as well as CHL classes. But for advanced training in the area, KR Training is great.

And finally, KR Training mantains a list of area clubs and ranges, check it out for more options.

Thanks much Ryan! Great info.

For an Aggie, you're alright. Must be tough livin' in Austin around all the Horn's fanatics. I don't know if I could live in College Station with all them Aggies...;-)

LOL. Living Austin wasn't too bad last year (12-7) , but 2005 (t.u.'s NatChamp) was a nightmare.....

Gig 'Em!

For my renewal last year I used CHL-Texas in the link above. I thought they did a good job and I recommend them.

I've taken two renewal classes with Ross Bransford (CHL-Texas) and will probably go to him again when I renew next year.
