East side shooting spots

As in wide spots on a back road that aren't posted, rather than formal ranges. Anyone know of any? I know some on the west side where I live, but I have friends in the east valley to shoot with, but they don't know squat. I'm talking east side like Mesa/AJ, not southeast like Casa Grande. I got that covered, more or less.
10mm... all the power you love from the 20mm, with half the recoil.

You can't reason someone out of something
that they didn't reason themselves into.

Shooting in the Tonto National Forest

Go down the Apache Trail towards Tortilla Flat...pretty much anywhere on the north side of the road is open for shooting, just take a good look at the map there and make sure you're out of the 'restricted' areas...you should have some kind of legit target to put up, and use common sense (shoot AWAY from roads, have a hill or mountain for a backstop, etc..) but the people at the ranger station just told me 'no problem' about target practice in that area...
