Gun Show in Lexington next weekend Jan 4th.......
anybody planning on going????
i havent been to a gun show in years, do they still suck as much as they used to????

Last time i went, IIRC back in 94 Randy Weaver was down there peddling his book on Ruby Ridge...nobody was buying his book...
there was also the guy there selling early tasers, you could hear him all across the hall....
and the beef jerky, that was the best thing about it

I'll be there Sunday since Mrs. Lordjim wants to go to Cinci on Saturday to a new store up there. Buds table usually has some good show specials but you have to get lucky on them. At least the guy who was totin' around 3 tables worth of rusty junk isn't there anymore.

IIRC, that would be the same guy that was there last time i went back in mid 90's.....old, rusty WWII surplus that belonged in a landfill......

I remember him from the mid 90's too. I think I saw the same rusty S&W Model 10 for 10-12 years.
