Lees Summit here...

I think Bob's is out of business. Or something like that.

Denny's in NKC is now Snap Shots and their trade/sell proces seem to be different than they used to be.

Crossfire/Arms Mart - OK, but you have to haggle.....

I usually go to the bullet hole over an occasional lunch to shoot pistol and Parma to shoot rifle. I just joined the KC Shooting Masters IDPA chapter (OK I just went through the orientation but plan on joining the next shoot). How about you?

my backyard. I'm just south of you. I got a couple buddies in Raymore that come down and shoot. They took my class and we started shooting together after that.

Excellent! I've driven by they often but never stopped.

Can non-members shoot for some sort of hourly fee?

Do you have to have your own target hangers or anything?

Any unreasonable rules, like no suppressors?

Is there an indoor portion?

Can't reconcile the 2 sets of hours of operations

Non members can shoot at the trap range. You pay a fee for each round of trap.

The following applies to the trap range:
Hours of Operation:
Wednesday 5:00P - 10:00P
Friday 5:30P -10:00P
Sunday 12:00P - 5:00P

The following applies to the rifle / pistol range:
Open 7 days a week from 9:00 am to dusk.

The rifle / pistol range is physically separate from the trap range and for members only, no hourly fee but I believe they do block out periods of range time for youth clubs local police training and such.

Stationary target stands (celotex backer boards) are available at the yardages described for your targets. A couple movable stands are also available at the pistol range.

I'm not sure about a "no suppressors" rule. Complete rules can be found here:
http://www.llsconline.org/
Click the JOIN tab for details.
This web site is far from complete so don't expect everything to work.

No indoor range but they do have a full function club house at the trap range. It is used for there monthly meeting, CCW classes, and it can be rented for private meetings or parties.

The first number 816-578-4897 is the trap house.
It might be best to call Don Sears (one the directors) 816-719-4384 for a tour of all of the facilities. Don also teaches CCW at a very reasonable price.

I mostly shoot pistols on week days and it's rare to see anyone there. I've never seen a crowded weekend. I believe you are allowed one guest at the rifle / pistol range. You must sign in once you've entered the gate.

Hope this helps to clarify.

They seems to be a cool bunch there.
In February I am going to get the grand tour and sign up.
Too bad no steel silhouette - I suppose that is passe these days. It was good exercise walking from the firing line down 100 yards and back all day.

it will be good to get away from some of the idiots at the indoor ranges. It has been 20 years since I was a member of a private range.
Thanks for showing this to us.
