Concert At Energy Solutions Center

My wife and I are attending a concert at the "Delta Center." I am aware according to state law I CAN pack inside, but I hear they post "no gun" signs and for concerts they wand people. Is this true? Do they wand people? I don't want to leave the gun in the car, alot of cars get broken into at the Delta Center.

If you have been to a concert there, have you been wanded?

I haven't been to a concert there but I've been there for a couple hockey games. No wands that I could see. Might be different for a concert though.

I'm there a few times a year for J*** games. Sometimes they have wanded me and sometimes they don't. I have never tried to carry into the place. I take the easy route and reluctantly leave my weapon in the car.

I've been to 2 different J*** games, the Brad Paisley concert last month, and a BYU basketball game (at ES arena) all within the last 3 months.

I have carried each time. I don't look for signs. I dress professionally. I don't carry anything in my hands (they like to search bags etc). I have never been wanded or seen anyone else get wanded and believe me I was watching. I'll take my chances there and if need be walk back to the car and then use the cable lock to secure the weapon to the frame under my seat. It would take someone at least 5-10 minutes to get it off of there I suppose.

The last few times I've been there for concerts they searched purses, but didn't wand anyone. I walked right in with a smile on my face.

depends on the concert. country and easy listening they heard you in and let you have beer. Anyhting above Bon Jovi and you could get patted down and they don't serve beer.

I was told I had to reove the chain from my wallet to go into a KISS concert... They wanted me to leave my wallet with them, idiots
