I was fishing Clark Hill or Strom Thurman lake on the South Carolina border a few weeks back. We were just using the rubber jig minnows and we must have caught 50 or so in about 4 hours of fishing. We put back about half because they were right at the 12" limit and just kept the legal stuff. We pulled in about 10 largemouth too but only kept 4. I had an absolute blast, in fact that was what convinced me to go through with the relocation to that part of the country.

After a 30-year hiatus, as of today I am now the proud owner of a Browning ultralight spinning rod, Diawa ultralight spinning reel and a tackle box full of fishing stuff!

Look forward to bass fishing at Lake Marion (Santee), and Lake Ashwood just south of Bishopville...only minutes away.

I fish stripers on Wateree. Well, at least I did a good bit before I sold my boat. Now I gotta get a ride with friends. The lake is all of about 15 minutes from my place.

Those suckers have been fidgity earlier in the season. Coming up from 7:40-8:05/8:10pm. You gotta know where to look as well. I've got a few places marked that always produce, so it has gone okay for me. I have talked to others who are less fortunate.

But, anyway, if you have any specifics, then please send me a PM and I'll do my best to help!

Live practically on Lake Murray and catch my limit almost everytime I go. They like cut bait here. A guy was fishing about 100 yards from us off of Goat Island the other day and pulled in an at least 45 pounder.

Oh, never mind. I thought it said Stripper fishing. And I had some really good stories, too.

Nothing I say here should be taken literally. It is not based on fact, data, experience or any form of intelligence. I'm full of crap. I know it and now you know it. Anything I say is purely fictitious and is posted here for your amusement only. Go sue someone else.

I wasn't born in Texas but I got here as fast as I could.

Liberals suck!
