Can-Am Spyder. It comes with the powerful yet bulletproof Rotax/Aprilia 1000-cc 60-degree watercooled V-twin. Not my cup of tea, but it's a nice trike.

My boss just got a Can Am Spyder in November he loves it. Maybe the most bang for your buck.

Now it's winter here so he has few miles on it but for the money you get a lot of motorcycle.

He has no physical problems, he just liked the idea.

It is a conservation piece the only problem is thier is probably a waiting list.

Hope this helps.

What about a sidecar? Ural, Harley, even BMW or Royal Enfield....

I completely understand the physical problems, but even so when I see a hack, I think, "********** cool! A hack!" When I see a trike I think, "A trike."

100% who cares what anyone thinks. But, even though it doesn't really matter, a hack has a certain je ne sais quoi that a trike will never have.

The Ural is cool just not for me,,have a buddy that has the one with the chain driven out rigger wheel.

Spyder is cool but not what I need,, Have been looking at the Boss Hog trike set up as well as California Side Car and Lehman,, with the touring seats it gets me a little bit more off the straight up and down line

Damn, you went Frenchie on us That's heavy!!!

But I agree totally. Sidehacks are cool. Trikes suck. And I vote for the Ural in camo version. Hey, it's a fifty-years-old BMW, how bad can it be?

Very, very true. When I see a trike I think of it as the "comb-over" of the bike world. You know you don't have it anymore but you try to look like you do. A side hack exudes coolness without the training wheels stigma. HH

try these:
www.GGQuadNA.com 214-559-4597 (50K)
www.can-am.brp.com 1-888-864-2002 (17K)
www.mtcvoyager.com 877-434-7901 (???$, but the unit comes on/off as you need or don't need the wheels)
www.thoroughbred-motorsports.com 888-783-3348 (wayy cool,[has ac!]4cyl Ford, about 30K) (I think you can also get ahold of a company named Motor Trike Inc. thru Thoro... MTI makes trike conversions for your bike-about 6.5K-8.5K depending on model. 800-908-7453

I've got a few years of 2 wheelin' left in me (I HOPE!)...but I see the handwriting on the wall...I came back from Daytona and started saving and putting money back for a trike of some sort. I've had "back trouble" in the past and when it's acting up there is just NO fun in being on 2 wheels...hope these help narrow your choices!

Get yourself one of those camouflaged Urals. The one where the sidecar has the base plate for a PKM/RPK/RPD machine gun mount.
