I just moved out here from Houston and am actually new to Glock Talk as well. I have heard about the site from a few friends and decided to check it out!

I'm sorry if I can't post this thread here but I'm trying to find some people to go shooting with. I have checked out the Shooting Line I think it's called, up in Brea off of Barry and State College.

I was also told about another range off of the 71 and 91 which unfortantley I forgot the name.

The HB Firing Line is a decent place and pretty active. There is also a range off the 57 Freeway and Katella, I believe, that might be closer to you. It is a sheriff's range, but also open to the public. I can't remember the name, but someone else may chime in with it.

Oh I know exactly where you're talking about! I pass it up every Tuesday night on my way to pool league. It's just right across the street from the Honda Center.

Yep, that sounds like the place. I went there once with a friend, but didn't care for their attitude at the front desk. Hopefully things have changed now.

I haven't been to it, but there is a range in Orange. I recall looking at the website 5 years ago and the range looked nice, but was also more expensive (and slightly further to me) than Firing Line in HB...but if you live in Anaheim Hills it should be closer to you whereas HB will be a good 20 to 40 minute drive.

Beyond that, there is a range in Cerritos or Artesia (or thereabouts) I went to once with a friend. It's alright.


There is also Raahauges in Norco. But if horse/cow smell bothers you, I suggest you stay away.

Thank you sir!! Horse/Cow smells do not bother me as half of my family lives on farms in Oregon, lol.

The range off the 71 near the 91 is Prado Olympic Shooting Park. It has Trap, Skeet, and outdoor pistol bays. It hosts http://www.prado-idpa.com/ matches on the first and third Saturdays, and will be hosting the California IDPA championships in October. I live in Yorba Linda and it takes me 10 minutes to get there.
