Shoot Straight

Anyone here in the Tampa/Lakeland area ever been to Shoot Straight on 301 in Tampa? The range looks very nice online - gonna make a trip over there sometime this week...just looking for reviews/comments.

TIA

I have been inside. They have a very clean and well staffed facility.

Also a very large inventory of all types. Did not shoot there or purchase anything.

For me, it is a nice large store to find and look at / handle what your curious about. Then go find it somewhere else for a lower price.

As far as the range, it is clean, air conditioned and safe. They have a few RO's and keep a watchful eye.

The one thing that has kept me from returning was their pricing for firearms. I do not recall their range fees. Just that it was packed on Saturday morning with a wait.

It was a nice trip, but I have not been back since. Too pricey and busy for my tastes.

I am not one to defend SS in any way, shape or form...but to my experience...their marked prices are high...but very negotiable.
