But really why are we worried? It is bound to be recalled due to lead paint or something.

Nah, we are losing ships even without a war. Di ba there is even this PN ship that just being used as barracks because it ran aground in the reefs? I think its also there in the Spratlys.
An expensive missile like that deserves a better target.

Is that one of those given by Korea? I heard we received 2nd hand vessels from them. From the shape of the hull, it doesn't look like its capable of high speeds- very important when chasing smugglers. What armament does it have? It doesn't seem to have a forward gun.

I dont think they are from Korea, but these two are and they are fast too.
PG-114 comes with air conditioning

I have a batchmate from high school who joined the Phil. Navy. He said our Navy is really just good for coastal defense. Wala daw tayong "blue water" navy. Well, wala din naman yung ibang countries sa ASEAN, but at least most of them have better, modern assets and some are already missile capable.
