what is a decent u/o shotgun
I was wondering what i should choose for a decent u/o birdgun. I was thinking about a beretta 686 pigeon s , or the whitewing model. I was wondering what is the difference between these two models, and what other models should i compare to them. Looking for a 20 gauge, to be used mostly for pheasant and dont wish to spend over $1100. Any comment would be great.

The Ruger Red Label is also pretty decent. Friend of mine in CA likes his for birds, and at the local skeet range (the one hosting the US Open this year in fact) Aside from the richer-than-hell crowd with their Krieghoffs ($5,000-15,000) I see a lot of Berettas and Rugers.

I was actually talking about a couple of hundred more from what he wanted to spend. He mentioned $1100. I know you can get a Citori of one model or another for $1300-1400.
