GTG or not? I just bought a G19 and need to stock up on mags.

Thanks.

I picked up 6 Korean mags for my wife's G19. So far, no problems, but the factory mags stay in when we're not at the range.

Caught somewhere in time.

Check your LGS and local pawn shops that sell guns. I have seen some good deals on used Glock factory magazines. Also check online for used Glock mags. The older korean glock mags I would avoid. Reviews on newer Korean mags made in the last couple years have been good. Most on GT will tell you use the Korean Mag at the range but trust your life with the Glock mags.

Just curious, but does anyone make aftermarket Glock magazines that are worthy for carry?

The difference in cost isn't worth it for the one or 2 mags you may carry. Stick with factory for carry

Not to my knowledge. I am hoping one day Magpul starts making Glock magazines. I'm sure they could pull off a quality Glock Magazine.

If they made one that was just as good and reliable as their PMAGs, I would be all over them. Not that I have any problems with the factory mags, just that it would be nice to have an alternative.

With the amount of Glocks out there world wide, I think this should be a no brainer for them.

I use KCI mags for range work and have been using them steadily for several years with no problems at all.

I bought them when they were dirt cheap and I don't mind dropping them in the gravel a few dozen times each range trip.

I dont understand the need for cheaper glock mags. I see they have gone up in price but they are not that bad. I recently traded for a glock and it came with one glock marked mag that was clearly a knock off. I noticed that the glock mags have a solid feeling follower and this one weebled and wobbled easily. I'm sure its better than nothing but I wouldn't pay money for one.
