Colleagues -
Winchester Canyon Gun Club in Santa Barbara county could use your help.
We have been working for nearly 15 years to get a long term lease renewal from the US Forest Service.
Now we need help to remain open on a year-at-a-time basis.
Please visit our web site at WCGC.org.
If you feel inclined, we would greatly appreciate an email of support to:
Jeff Bensen at

WCGC is a non-profit 401c3 corporation, open to the public.
WCGC supports virtually all the shooting sports.
Memberships are available to the public, but we are also open to non-members with very reasonable rates.
We provide significant discounts to members of the military and law enforcement agencies.
We provide Hunter Safety instruction.
We have very successful community outreach programs at both UCSB and Westmont College.
We also provide youth shooting events free to Boy scouts, Girl scouts and virtually any youth interested in the shooting sports.
We provide monthly Black Powder, falling plates, IDPA style shoots, bowling pins, SASS (cowboy), Sporting Clays, and 5 stand events.
We have Trap and Skeet ranges open 3 days a week.
Our with rifle and pistol ranges are open to the public each weekend, and are open to members every day.
Reduced rates ($1.50 per round of Trap or Skeet) are available for youth shooters.
Shooters with disabilities can shoot Trap or Skeet for free.
We are sponsoring a "Lead Free" sight in day on June 22, for shooters who want to sight-in rifles with the newly mandated lead-free ammo.
Your email or letter or phone-call of support would be greatly appreciated.
Please don't delay, we need to have all comments and letters of support in to the USFS by May 3, 2008.
Thanks much!
Phil Kryder
