OK so I can't tell if you got there. Click on Flyfishing at the top and it will take you to a page with FF links on the left hand side.

I enjoy www.flyshop.com

and look up royal gorge anglers and get the news letter if you are interested in south central Colorado fishing. The Mothers day hatch is a hoot!

Enjoy

FAOL

Pontificator,
Do you participate in the FAOL bulletin board? What's your handle on there if so?

Arbee,
dunno what area you live in...but...

If you live in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or California, go to www.westfly.com very informative, and they have a great group of people on their BBS. Each state has it's own forum. Oregon and Washington seem to be the more popular ones. Gotten good info from that one.

I also am active on the FAOL BB, and love their site. I've been reading it for about 4 years now. It's a weekly online magazine, and THE largest flyfishing database on the net. Thousands of pages of great info. I've also contributed to the site with a few articles/stories. One of my more recent stories is up right now on the "Reader's Cast" section. Had a fictional story published back in Dec. of 99. Have another to be published soon. Hoping to eventually get some of my works published under the "Panfish" section Love bluegill + sunfish!

also, check out www.ifish.net (NOT www.ifish.com, they're a ripoff, admittedly getting a lot of hits from ifish.net's name since it's a popular site) it's mainly geared to NW fishers, but we even have people posting and reading from as far away as Oklahoma.

while I haven't visited the site in a couple years...www.virtualflyshop.com used to be a good site to go to for info. They have a BBS as well. They used to have directions to tie hundreds of different flypatterns w/ pics. I didin't use them too much, as FAOL was/is a better site IMHO.

Good luck with your hunt for info.
