Best place and going price for an AR-15 lower?

I'm looking to buy an AR-15 lower somewhere in either Utah Valley or the Salt Lake Valley. Had the following questions:
1) Who has the best prices?
2) What brand would you recommend (RMT, please weigh in on this one-- you seem to know a lot about the subject!)

I've bought from Van Wag's, FBMG, and KSL primarily.
If anyone on this forum has an AR lower he's looking to get rid of, I'd be happy to purchase/trade for it as well. I'm a network admin/telephony guy by day, so I've got tons of computer parts, tools, and the like to trade.

Van Wags has Bushmaster lowers with retractable stocks for $299. Not sure if that's a good or bad price as I haven't been in the market for a while but not sure who else sells them around here.

I just checked gunbroker.com and it looks like Norm's prices are pretty close to what they are going for there, at least for a Bushmaster lower. You can get a different brand, such as DPMS for less such as this one:

BIN for $229 (probably closer to $270 after shipping and FFL transfer).

I'm not sure about the quality of DPMS but I can say I've always been happy with my Bushmasters.
