What ammo is in your 9MM pistol?
What is your 9MM self-defense ammo? I use Remington Golden Saber 124 grain jacketed hollow points. I've tested several boxes of it on my 9MM pistols and I haven't had a single malfunction. The shot grouping also is very outstanding.
What do you use?

You have some hard-to-find ammo. I believe the last time they were made was in 2000. Yup, these "will penetrate kevlar armor cop killer" were as famous as the "ceramic non-detectable terrorist favorite" Glock pistol. I do wish I can get my hands on several boxes of Black Talon. The only ones available now are the Winchester Ranger SXT, essentially the same but without the black lubricant used to protect the riflings.

I'm sure they are still OK unless the powder or the primer somehow got contaminated with excessive moisture or oil.

Almost like it's made of gold. Pero sulit 'yan. The choice of ammo is just as important as the firearm. Who knows, the 100 peso shot might be the shot that saves your life, or better, your loved ones.

My carry loads for the 9 are Corbon 115 grainers which I will replace with 124 grain Winchester Ranger Ts, the Corbons are too dang expensive at around 90-100 a pop compared to the Ranger T at around 40. If you look closely at the Ranger T, it has em claws like the infamous black talons

Hydra Shoks.
Tested the 124 gr Hydra Shoks on wild (and very agressive) goats that we were gonna slaughter on my friends' island using my former BHP MKIII. The results were devastating.
We also tested the 230 gr .45 ACP Hydra Shok on another goat. Same results.

Never heard of Dart Tips nor High Energy Ammunition Technology (HEAT). Mukhang mas sulit itong Ranger SXT, a Law Enforcement Ammo in the US.

actually,
sir allegra,
actually, when i still had access to a dillon, i also used reloads even for carry ammo, but now that i no longer have access to a press, i went back to factory fmj. reloads can be just as reliable as factory if reloaders do a good job of inspecting brass and primers before reloading, and take good care in every step of the process too. i use clear nail polish to seal the primers on my hand loads, if it really mattered i don't really know.

I use a Gold Dot 124gr in the +P+ mode 1296fps compared to the factory load at 1220fps out of a 4in barrel. I would like to see Remington offer a +P+ in the Golden Saber, I think it is a better performer than the Gold Dot, it is 1880 fps out of a 4in barrel in the +P
