MA Gun Question.

Hello,

I had a quick question and hopefully someone can help. My brother used to live out of state but he is now a legal resident of MA with a class a LTC. He was going to build an AR but gave up on the idea. He has a collapsible stock that Id love to take off his hands for one of my ARs. Is it legal for me to buy a collapsible stock from him and attach it to my AR?

Thanks guys!

Jim

If collapsible stocks are legal in your state, then yes you can install it on your rifle.

NO! Not unless the lower was assembled/kitted as a pre-ban gun prior to 9/13/1994.

Only exception is if you butcher the stock by pinning it permanently in a single position.

MA still has the old Fed Ban in place . . . forever.
