Bob Pope Gun Shows in Tn

I was at a Bob Pope Gun Show , I think it was in 2000 or 2001 or so at the I-24 Expo Center . Anyways , this may sound petty , but I got to thinking about it and was wondering . While walking around and buying myself a pistol ,,,,I heard Bob Pope himself get on the P.A. system and start going off on someone or some group of people. It sounded like he said "you know who you are and you arent welcome here with that kinda crap ........"
He was ranting and raving at someone and all kinds of stuff. Was anyone here on this forum there and heard that rant ? I was just wondering what he was going off about . He has a Gun Show scheduled for Oct 10,11,12 . I am going there but when looking up the gun show schedule , it reminded me of the "rant" that happened then . He does have a good show , its better than the Fairgrounds guns shows , they are like Flea Markets

If his gun shows are "his" how can someone take them away from him?

Akita , I was asking how someone could be bought out , like you said RK did to Mike Holloway . I was not offended , just asking how someone that has their own gun show could get bought out . You didnt offend me at all , no worries . I just dont understand how big shows can comeinto a town and "buy out" a person like Bob Pope .

Akita , whats the biggest and best gun show you have been to here in Tn ? They used to be big and nice here in the 90's but lately they suck and arent too big at all . I have even started going to places like Kentucky just to see what they have , but the bad thing is not being able to buy pistols out-of-stae . Kentuckys prices also seem a little better than Tn's.

If you havent been to The Creek and if:
1) you like Anything that goes bang;or
2) you like gun shows
you MUST go to a show there before you die (preferably on sat so you can stay for the night shoot). The worst gunshow I have ever seen there was better by an order of magnitude than the best gunshow I have seen anywhere else(including the western shows i have attended). (note that i've never been to SHOT or SAR shows)

DO you know if they let kids in there ? I would love to bring my boy , he is 10 yrs old and shoots with me a bunch . He would absolutly die to see that stuff
Man he would have a ball!!!!
Do you rememebr the age limits ? Thanks in adavnce for any info .
