Dunham's
Hi all;
I have a question or two about these folks and since I didn't want to hijack the thread of where to get the cheapest AK, I figured I'd start my own.
I too am interested in an AK and one of the new Ruger LCP's. I will be traveling in a few weeks and will be near a Dunham's store. My questions are, do they carry handguns? How are the prices on handguns? Would I be better off purchasing the LCP somewhere else? Plainfield Shooters Supply? I've heard good things about PSS but never have it made there whenever I've been near Indy.
I will be in the Anderson area if that helps any.

If we're talking about the sporting goods store, I bought my Yugo M48 there back when there was one in Evansville. The prices were decent at the time, and I don't remember any handguns, but things may have changed (5 years ago).

From Rising Sun, you might want to just head over towards Louisville and go to Keisler's...I believe they have a Jeffersonville addy.
They have quite a large selection, prices on the firearms aren't unreasonable.
3300 Industrial Pkwy
Jeffersonville, IN 47130

Just a few blocks off of I-65, not too far from Bass Pro / Veteran's Parkway

Yeah they do. They just have a different name for the same store when the sell to the public. They will have a good selection of AK's, not sure about the Ruger. They do stock a lot of hand guns. I think their web page is for the LEO community but they will definitly take your money. There is also a neat little store in Clarksville called 111 gun store. They also have great prices on AK's. Search the Bluegrass Glockers threads and you'll find several post on them as well.

Yes, Keisler's certainly is open to the public...both for perusal AND sales. They just have two different websites that aren't set up very well (in my opinion).
They have a HUGE inventory of both firearms and ammunition. All kinds of other firearms-related stuff, too.

Dang-it!
I was down that way awhile back during the NRA convention in Louisville.
On the way back to Indy I stopped by the Bass Pro Shop, had I known Kieslers was open to the public,I would've been all over that like white on Rice!

Keislers store still says Kieslers on the store front but the name on your receipts says orion arms.

If your looking for ammo, go to Kieslers. prices will vary from good to bad, but they have a huge selection of ammo. I'd recommend 111 gun shop if your looking for a firearm. Pretty decent selection and nice guys. Not as big as Kieslers, but they've got better prices and are better to deal with IMO.

Any info would be great..

Sorry, no Bass Pro in Indy yet...
If they are building one, I'd venture a guess and say that it's "on the north side", either near the Castleton area to the NE, or on the NW side near where I-465 and I-65 go their seperate ways.

It was going to be on the south side near Greenwood. I think the project has been put on hold for awhile though...

By your avatar, I am guessing you might be stopping at Hoosier Park. On 53rd street, just west of scatterfield/109, there is a store called Crack Shot Guns. A guy named Mike owns it and is a very fair guy. It is maybe a mile and a half from the casino.
