Leather holster saves my M&P!

So I went down yesterday at about 35... I ended up sliding for a short distance, but am fine with just some bruises.

I was pocket carrying in my jacket with a speed loader in my jeans pocket and as I slid on the pavement, my jeans and jacket pocket shredded. My M&P 340 was saved from some ugly scrapes by the leather pocket holster made for me by another GT member.

Also in the attached picture it my speedloader which has some denim permanently melted into it...

I'll have to get into the details of the crash later. Needless to say, I am a bit frustrated because my bike is damaged and the guy who caused the accident (was cited by PD for running a red and pulling out in front of me) did not have insurance with him. We'll see how it turns out.

Glad you're not hurt and you even spared your M&P 340 some damage.

Too bad about the bike, but at least it can be repaired.

Glad you're OK. Reminded me of my buddy trying to jump a curb and catching the back tire. He was carrying in an ankle holster and ended up sliding down the sidewalk staring down the barrel of his Detective Special.
