GD Acer Orbicam.........errr
I have an Acer 5672 and now when I try to use my built-in webcam it's giving me a message saying that it is disconnected......Which is impossible because I am looking at it.
Appears Acer's Orbicam is an epic fail 
Any Ideas? Solutions?

On some new laptops you have to turn them on using a combination of keys, look at your function keys for a picture of a camera. On the laptop I enabled, it was the f7 key ... so I pressed Fn & F7 and it turned on the web cam.

i have an Acer notebook with Vista and i have read there was a Vista & Webcam issue but i guess that won't apply to you.

I've been quiet happy with my Acer laptop... Have you tried calling their technical support? Reading the Laptops documentation?
