Are there any suggested settings for speeding it up? The old forum loaded almost instantly for my old pc, now it is annoyingly slow, especially with the new, more complex layout.

Is anyone else missing the MyThreads/MyReplies link....
I really liked that feature. Will it be put back?
I don't know about the rest, but I also liked the new layout you had up for a few days... the tabs across the top made things easier to get to quickly..... Thanks,... I hope that comes back as well.

Like the look. Took a min to understand how it was applied, but was easy to figure out. Also like how you can switch between version 2 and 3. I personally like Beta 2 overall. My perfect setup would be Beta 3's top right side of info and ad's along top, with beta 2's left top side.

The site really looks great. I am excited about most of the new features.
One thing I would enjoy seeing is mobile device friendly version. I don't know what all that would require but it would be handy. My smartphone has a display of 240x320 and I generally use landscape mode. Internet explorer on it actually renders the current pages well, but some areas if designed for it would be better. It requires a lot of scrolling and also our mobile internet isn't real fast. A stripped down version that would load faster would be most beneficial. The new ads hog a lot of my screen on my mobile device. I understand you have to generate monies from advertisers to keep things going too. I don't mind them at all on my desktop unit. Maybe we could take off ads (or at least some of them) on mobile layout for paid members of a cerain level?
I really do apperciate all you do for the site.

How about a mobile formatted version? It is tough getting around on my PDA sometimes. I am not sure how many surf via mobile devices, it may not be worth the hassle.

I made the same suggestion. It's already in the plan as I recall. I browse on my Blackberry using Opera Mini often enough that such a feature would be very nice. But I also understand that making the upgrade and ensuring primary functionality is the priority right now.

That would be awesome. I can navigate via Safari on my iPhone, but things get awfully small sometimes.

Let me kiss up first - this is a GREAT site and I visit every day. I really appreciate all the hard work that goes into making this site what it is... 
How about a mobile version of the site for paid members? I visit http://forums.crackberry.com/ everyday as well - they have 2 forum skins/styles that is optimized for viewing with a mobile device... WAP & WAP3 (Look on the bottom left of the screen)
They even have their own mobile address - www.wap.crackberry.com
As a paid member, granted it is only silver, I would LOVE to hit GT from my Blackberry without all the graphics etc...
PLEASE PLEASE consider this - Take a poll to gauge interest... I am sure that you would get more paid members with this option...

I was thinking that a Glock Photo section on the main forum page would be nice where people can just post their pics. I know there is a photo gallery, but a dedicated forum section might be helpful. But overall the site is great.
