The 7.62 x 39 Monarch is manufactured for Academy by Barnaul.

IIRC - Barnaul and Wolf are two different companies - located in the same city. They use the same components - powder/bullets/primers.

It is non-corrosive and has always been 100% reliable in my AKs.


Strange to see a thread I created back in 10/2008 all of a sudden pop back up. I was hoping that Academy was running another $2.99 a box sale.
