XP File Explorer Issues

Problem happens on multiple machines, and different locations. File explorer will simply crash. Often when I am not on the computer. Other times it will crash on start-up. Sometimes I can open file explorer back up, other times I have to restart XP. Sometimes several restarts as the first often hangs up.

Sorry I can't give details as I have not found a pattern. It has been off and on for several years but more often lately. I do keep 4 or 5 sessions of file explorer open at a time as I am constantly opening CAD files for different clients and it's easier to keep a session of file explorer for each client job plus other uses.

Running a Dell Dimension 9200, DXP061, Intel Dual?Quad (forgot which) Core CPU 6600 @ 2.4GHz, RAID 1, 2 - 230 Gig hard drives, 3 Gig RAM. XP Pro with Service Pack 3 typically running AutoCAD 2009. I typically have several other programs up as this is a hard working machine for my engineering business.

Anyone else run into this? Or, as usual, I am a magnet for computer glitches?

yep, sent him 20 bucks as he was down on his luck then i bought a holster from him for another 20 on 9/2/04...sent him a few pm's but no answer..
i guess some people forget..i still have the m.o. receipt..
