Survey completed.
And, now that farscott mentioned it, I'll add that I think the overtravel is reduced. I am using a full drop-in Vanek trigger; I noticed it immediately, even dry firing, but thought I was crazy. It just doesn't make sense to me that the frame would compensate overtravel. Perhaps it is operant sympathy. I was planning to switch everything back over to my 17 frame and do a comparison, but I like the TW frame so much better. I'm going to have to order the rest of the parts to leave both frames up and running...

Got mine picked up Monday night and put together Tuesday night. Built it as a G22. Was able to run 250 rnds through it. The second mag I ran for some reason kept locking the slide back every few rounds. Happened 3 times but never again after that. Used the flat grip panel for the first 100 rounds and the the arched panel for the rest. The arched seems to be the one that works best for me. I plan on running another 250 rounds of .40 through it and then switching it over to 9mm for the other 500. Then I will run my Ciener .22 kit on it and see how it works. My 3rd gen g22 mags will not drop free but seemed to be loosening up a bit by the time I was done with the first session.

Love the thin grip. Had to order a new locking block to fit it to the frame. I hope it works.

Attempted to run my Ciener .22 kit on the TW frame today. On a standard Glock frame, the mags are snug (non drop free). Had to force them in to the TW frame and also had to pry them out. Also had cycling issues that I believe were related to the mags fitting too tight.

Dry fired mine some more tonight and installed all new lower parts in the frame and put the borrowed parts back in my G17 G3. I still have the G17 top half on my LW frame. Eventually I plan to order a G35 LW Stripped slide. If anyone knows of any pending sales let me know. I have all the rest to include a LW 40-9 conversion barrel for a 35 so in the end I will have a LW G34 with a heavy barrel.
One thing I noticed on the frame is there is no thumb rest on the right side of the frame for lefties. I was a little surprised with that. Was it required to keep the frame slim? All my glocks have an indent on both sides. As you might expect I am a lefty. It still ran fine this weekend at my IDPA match and I didn't even notice until tonight when I was comparing trigger pull between the LW frame with 3.5 connector to my stock G23 and I kept swapping back and forth. I have only run about 200 through it so far and it has been 100%. I should get another 3-400 through this weekend. Need to load up some more. I might pick up some commercial ammo from Wal-Mart so I have some variety and I have some defense rounds that are getting three years old I can cycle through and pick up some fresh stuff.

Ejector swap?
Anyone have pics of the ejector swap from a .40? My frame is on the way today, but I have never pulled out the ejector. I don't want to bugger up the SF trigger housing.

We are at the end of shipping the prototype frames. If you are still waiting on a frame you need to contact your FFL and verify they emailed or faxed a copy of their license. We have several orders that are on the verge of being cancelled because the FFL's are not in our hands. If you have questions regarding a past due order I recommend you contact Anna at LWD customer service ajohnson@lonewolfdist.com
Grab the ejector with pliers and pull straight out of your TH. Shove it straight in the SF trigger housing and you are good to go!

Ok JR,
You've given us tentative time lines for the future release of other frames, but I'm curious when your going to release the integrated laser frames?
It looks like this frame has the potential to be a real winner. Would love to build a custom Timberwolf 19 with laser built in.
TIA

We already have all the provisions built into the frame to accommodate the laser so it is not an issue at all. Once the frame hits general production we will have a little time to fine tune the laser and mag well.

Made a preview youtube video of my frame. Not much but something at least. I plan on doing the range video soon i hope, and more thoughts on the frame and accessories like holsters, lights etc.. maybe even a first person perspective video of a Glock match coming up.
