I'm nervous as hell.....

Fellow GT'ers, I'm nervous as hell about going to take the ASVAB tomorrow and then enlisting on Thursday.

Anyone have any humorous stories they'd like to pass on so we can have a chuckle or two?

Are you doing the ASVAB and your physical same day? If so, get some sleep. The ASVAB is not that hard, but taking it tired will get you cook and baker's school instead of 0300. Good luck.

Thank you for the advice, Marines.

I had a courtesy weigh in prior to the physical on Thursday. I PT'ed Wednedsay and then had sort of a punishment PT for being over weight all day Thursday.

Finally weighed in today during the Phys, got all the way through it until the one-on-one with Doctor Immortal (Seemed like the doc had to be at least 80) only to be PDQ'ed for one of the pupils supposedly not dilating or contracting upon the introduction to light. After that (and a nice hearty lunch) the recruiter and I filled out the waiver paperwork.

Now I'm just hanging loose and running my way down to ship weight until the waiver comes back.

Haha, I swear that roast beef sandwich and can of red pop was the best thing I've eaten in some time after fasting for a few days.

To say that I'm very moto is an understatement. I really wish I was on that plane to the island followed by the bus ride now.

Thanks again Marines.

Before I go get some chow, I scored an 82 on the ASVAB.
