So for $625 I could get a 150rd drum
Or two 100rd drums and six 30rd mags?
Or sixty two (62) 30rd mags?
Or a nice new upper?
Or a NIB Glock and six extra mags?

I don't see this as being anything but a toy for the rich.

I'd hate to be the poor guy that has to walk around with 150 rounds hanging from the bottom of a WASR-10..............................

I think if you're dropping $10K on a gun, you can drop $625 on a drum for a steady supply of ammo.

Semi-auto should stick with the 30rd mags.

It's a range toy.

Having carried a "slick" M4 with a 30 round mag quite a few miles on patrolling exercises, in and out of houses, buildings, hangars, etc.. Anything that big hanging off a gun better have a real machine gun (M249) attached to it. And even then, i'd rather have the 100 round nutsack or 200 round box.

Even on semi I can get rid of 30 rounds pretty quick. I once managed to get rid of 5 30 rounders on burst from a moving Humvee (turret, replacing a M249) during an exercise, and the weight and bulk of that 150 rounder would not have made things much better, and the ammo supply, assuming it didn't jam, would have not made a difference (mag changes are a few seconds).

cool idea but to damn heavy fully loaded hanging in any rifle and to expensive. i'd rather buy two beta-c 100 yd drums or a crap load of 30 round mags than spend 625 for that thing. also would be incredible boring to load and shoot unless you have full auto. i have 30 rd mags but normally load no more than 15 at a time because i get bored shooting by the time i shot 30 rds.

PMags: $15 Each
Nordic 18 round PMag extensions: $28 each

144 rounds in three mag changes: $129
150 rounds with no mag change: $650
Not having to carry an M4 that weighs 16 pounds loaded: Priceless.

If nothing else it would be worth it because it pisses off the anti gun elected scumbags.
