I ended up switching to the Verizon Storm. It is no problem any longer! :-D

Work is setting up an 8830 for me right now. I'm glad to hear GT will run better than it does on my Palm. For those times when the laptop and aircard are a little too cumbersome.

GT Mobile

It works decently on Blackberry Storm with the full browser, but it definitely could be more Mobile friendly

I use my iPhone to browse gt and it works fine. The only problem is that the ad graphics take a while to load.

I use a tmobile dash. This site loads kind of slow and gives me "a script has caused this site to load slowly, abort?" error every couple of pages.

I would love a mobile version of GT.

I'm sending from my 8330. It's not too bad. Could use a little bit of cleaning up.I like the fact that I can search and post on a moments notice. This way I don't miss the good deals...

I would say though, when looking at GT from the mobile, things are definitely SPREAD WAY out and a little harder to find.

Just my .02 cents. GT mobile would rock!!!

Every vB forum I go to has a mobile version except GT which, ironically, is where I spend the most time.

YES! I agree. I can use GT on my WM Treo, but real mobile forums are far superior and much more usable.

Mobile themes are relatively easy to add but they don't show any ad's. Servers can be expensive and forums as big as this can be very costly. I'm sure Eric needs every click-through he can get and if there's a mobile version, then there are NO ad's to click through.

It would be nice though...

He could make it an option for paid members?

PM sent to Eric with a link to this thread. I would love a mobile skin. GT is the only forum that gets quirky on my new Droid. Sometimes its flawless, sometimes it hangs loading pages.
