Bear Hunting!!!

I'm gettin' pumped up for this coming bear season. Anyone have any sure-fire tips to bring in the big boys? Can't wait to head up into the bear woods!

Sit real still, don't smoke, don't move a lot (sit real still), use a bottle for relieving yourself (one that seals with a top), be quiet.

That about covers the basics I think.

Good luck.

Take my friend in the woods. The bears will hear him coming (sounds like a buffalo) and the bears will high tail it into the next county where you will be able to intersect them.
Seriously, the best ways are with bait or dogs. I dont do either, and so I just kinda wander around. (then again I havent gotten one yet, but someday...). Oh by the way, a sure fire way to see bears is take a camera instead of a rifle. I have come across two that way. I think they feel less timid if you have a Canon instead of a cannon.

I was all set to go out this year. I said that it would be better this year because I am the boss. Well it will probably have to wait.

To much work to get out and hunt(Bears, and Mt. Lions)...I still want to get away, we will see.

Any way good luck to you.

Walk around in the woods with bacon hanging out of your pockets?

well here is my 2 cents worth, use some dry dog food take about 3 lbs. of bacon and get the grease off of it and pour it on aboout 5lbs of the dry dog food, once your in the spot your going to hunt place th mix directly on the ground and then back off it worked for me here in new mexico 3 different times and also like everyone has said be very quite good luck

my only tip is don't bait them, be a real hunter and learn to stalk and track. Know the animal and it's habits and you'll be able to figure out where it will be at certain times.
