Six words.
You get what you pay for?
Just kidding.
You see that a lot on GB...some good deals, some rip offs waiting for a sucker to bite.
Good thing I've had at least a little education on 1911s, so I can tell the difference.
Thanks to all.

I have a that same pistol for only $2499.97. I'll even coat it in whatever color you want.
Please allow 2 weeks for delivery so I can run out and buy it and coat it.....I mean prep it for delivery.
I accept cash or M.O. .....

If it's the same guy I'm thinking of, he buys a ton of Kimbers, sends them to Wilson and tries to sell them. I don't know if he actually sends them but my question is, who the hell would buy someone elses idea of a customized pistol?
Why not just buy a Kimber and send it to Wilson yourself? It would probably cost less or else how would this guy make a profit?

A guy who's stupid enough with lots of money to burn, and buy the gun in the auction. And doesn't have the time to do his research, and just want a "cool" gun to bring to the range.
