Virus/malware alert problem

Every time I got to Photobucket to login to my account to upload photos I get a Windows Intenet Explorer popup:

"Warning!!! Your computer contains various signs of viruses & malware programs presence.
Your system reqires immediate antivirus check! Antivirus 2009 will perform a quick & free scanning of your PC for viruses & malicious programs.

Followed by an OK box or Cancel box.

No matter what I click, cancel, OK or close (red x) it goes immediately into some kind of scan with this in the address bar:

http://antispywareprolivescan.com/pr...hp?nu=77075648

Then I'm given another popup prompt:

Your Computer remains infected...blah blah
Return to Antivirus 2009 and download it to secure your PC

Followed again by an OK box or Cancel box.

I click to close the popup & get another popup:

Windows Security Alert:

list the viruses, etc... anothe OK box or Cancel...

again I click to close the box.

Another popup to installAVg_77075648.exe

Run, Save or Cancel

I click Cancel.

Any help out there at all as to what is going on?

Guys, I have the same thing BUT only when I open photobucket. It does NOT happen anywhere else. I had this type virus once before & a System Restore wiped it. I did a System Restore again this time and when I went back into Photobucket I get the same warning. Could it be that Photobucket is compromised? Again, everything else works fine on my PC and I have only "x'd" out of the virus warnings and accepted nothing.

Antivirus 2009 is not good. It seems to reactivate itself after you think you have cleaned it,

Thanks,

not sure how to deal with this from the responses given- but I'll try.

I read the other thread & it seems to be pretty hard to kill.

I have zero computer skills to boot.
