Antler Point

After last week's trip to Pinnacles, we've enjoyed a local hike at Joseph Grant Park. Herbert Hoover used to visit here and shoot guns (there used to be a gun club there long time ago). Now it's a fairly desolate place, with Antler Point as the highest spot. We only met a few people on the starting trails, and not one soul on the main Canada de Pala - Pala Seca loop. All in all, ~11 miles and 2000 ft elevation change. Here are a few shots:

Halls Valley
Oaks along Pala Seca
High plateau above the clouds
Resting at the Antler Point

I love the textures and patterns in trees like that. I don't find very many around here. Maybe I need to take up hiking!
