Works great. Used it on my M4 in Iraq too. I like being able to grab the carbine and run, knowing I've got at least 30 rounds on me. That will get me to my stash. While in "safe areas" in combat zones we were required to have a weapon and ammo but it can't be loaded. This worked perfectly when cruising the PX or Green Bean when we'd roll into a FOB for a break!
