Did they ever get these into US inventory? We were testing them to replace the M-296 Gun Pod on the OH-58D KW but I left active duty before that was accomplished ('02). I know we sent beau coup of these GAU-19's to Central American anti-drug forces for door mounts in Hueys as the 7.62 miniguns couldn't penetrate the triple canopy very well.
