Good man and took care of me well. The 2nd man I'd save if given the chance (after my 'terp in the "Abu Schwareb" pics). Chief was murdered at his home by anti-Iraqi forces while on "jaza" (military leave) shortly after I left country. They knocked on his door and when he opened it they gunned him down then fled on a motorcycle.
